The main responsibility is to work as an equity derivative trader. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

四、Operations Specialist(J17350)

The duties associated with this role include, but not be limited to:

1. Operational BAUs including post-execution trade support, settlement, cash management, corporate actions processing, reconciliation and regulatory reporting.

2. Account opening, maintenance and periodic review, ensure the process is in accordance with related rules and regulation requirements.

3. Build up operation flows and procedures for new business and products.

4. Assist in product developments, process improvements and system implementation to promote digital transformation. UAT testing for system enhancement requirements.

5. Develop necessary internal control procedures to reduce operational risks. Ensure smooth operation of the business within the rules and regulations in various local jurisdictions.

6. Develop and maintain operational relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and third parties (Exchanges, clearing agents, IT Vendors) to support business.

7. Ad-hoc projects, e.g., streamline the operation process via VBA Macros tools where necessary.

7. 通过VBA等工具提升运作流程自动化水平及运作效率。

任职资格：

Knowledge

1. 2-3 years relevant experience in financial areas with knowledge of different financial products such as cash equity, fix income products, and other derivatives.

2. Familiar with Singapore financial products and settlement mechanism. Good understanding of the local regulatory requirements.

3. Knowledge in global equity markets as well as the respective settlement mechanism and procedures, U.S., Hong Kong and China Stock Connect market included.

4. Hands-on experiences in operational BAUs such as account opening, trade processing, settlement, corporate actions, and clearance for the market will be preferred.

Skills and Abilities

1. Strong problem-solving, multitasking and analytical skills, great attention to detail and willingness to learn.

2. Strong MS office applications knowledge, proficient in programming language such as MS VBA, Python or C++ will be a plus.

3. Team orientated with Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capability to work independently under pressure and tight deadline.

4. Native English speaking, good command in speaking, reading and writing Chinese is essential.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or computer science is preferred.

2. Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experiences in finance industry will be a plus.
